Having Hope, When We Envision

Life Goals:  accomplishing all our goals .. together ..as a family ... Eventual goal we hope happens in our lifetime:  Some day, one day getting back the del Monte land (getting back the original home would be nice as well, but depending on how long it takes, we would settle for just one day getting back the land) - kind of just the principle of the matter at this point.  It was a dream/goal we set out to do and someday, hopefully in one of our lifetimes, it will be accomplished.   Though right now,  that's on the back burner ...  some day that would be nice,  but I guess that is last priority now ..... not nearly as much a high a priority as learning how to write a grant and or a  fundraiser to get the funding to be able to just stay afloat to survive right now and to make the aircrete mini home for us to live in, so we can rebuild our Urban Food Forest. Being honest, I really don't want to go back to the farm. As much as Mom is difficult here,I like it here at the hotel. We are all together and I cherish this time. Only I had to eat into all my reserves to stay here longer. Kiddo is mad at me bc i extended our stay by three days but we can't get the ride wee want back on the day so we extended our stay again..but if we had just made it fo four days the first time we could have had it at a discounted rate.  I don't want to have to leave the hotel.   Our two three biggest problems right now  Lack of transportation  Lack of money  And our completely resistant and loathing the idea of going someplace where someone is going to try to control our lives and limit the freedom on how we do things . I don't want to leave this hotel bc even though mom doesn't like it as my much I feel mentally and emotionally safe here. GiveSendGo/HopingforaGarden keep envisioning that somehow either someone hears what we want to do with our home to help others and helps us to save it/ buy it back from the folks who bought our family's home of over 60 years from my ex. -- that somehow they have been prevented or stopped from trying to kick our family out.    or maybe our two fundraisers are a succees, or maybe some other way that is still yet unknown --- but however it happens where years down the road, we are still getting to live here,in our family's home of over 60years.. that our history of all that we have in the home still exists..  that NONE of our history gets lost during their attempts to try to evict us from our home.  we keep envisoning that somehow our battle has been won, and that somehow we have managed to buy back the home from those people who had bought it from my ex .. and now, now with strength and continuity of the history of our home, and it's healing that it provides us, we ...

So we made a deal with a consultant where he would find someone who would buy my ex out and who would then let us but back the home from them.   What we had understood was that we would be forfeiting our share of the home in order to have more time to raise up the money to buy back our home.. As we had understood it, rent and taxes would be covered for a whole year and we would have exclusive rights to buy back the home for at least a year. With continued living there as an option as long as we could come up with the rent money. But then one month in,  all hellstarted to break loose  when the neighborhood started going after our yard for things that for attributesthat had been tolerated and basically grandfathered in lreviously, but right after the home switched hands they started nitpicking about every little details...  and then...

You might want to give them some financial details as well...  They would need to keep in mind this is an expensive LONG term investment. Short term, there would be no immediate benefits, but long term, we hope to give back to them, and to the community Along the way, teaching folks that it is possible to have an edible food forest in an urban setting, and that they dont have to exodus the city to find nature and/or to create a little mini regenerative oasis. How we do this is a little bit limited while we are caring for Mom full time, but we would like to be allowed to put into the groundwork to reach it's full potential. 1) From having a mini homeshed or getting a prebuilt container put into the backyard to rent a space in the backyard out to help cover taxes.... Q: have you looked into idea of microgreen: , Yes, we have looked into that idea and tried a few attempts just to grow microgreens for ourselves.. though currently we don't seem to be very good at growing microgreens even for ourselves. But, Something we are decent at growing halfway well enough to share is the Chaya and Longevity spinach,  so we are hoping if we could teach folks about those two plants and  maybe we could create a small mini niche market for that.   It requires educating folks so it's a long term goal... but those are two of the three plants we grow most successfully.   And it's the only products  that kiddo has expressed any delight in the idea of selling later on.   But again , this is long term goal.   Right now, for this immediate year our concentration is finding a way to buy out the ex with a long-term investor preferably over a short term one.... Mission Statement for our Home Project: To digitally record the evolution of our home and our  lives (with a video, audio, & photographic record of whatever we see, hear, observe experience) as we slowly learn to live in regenerative symbiotic harmony both with our home, with ourselves, with each other, with the wildlife and with the overall world around us and with life itself, in order to be able to share this journey both with our future selves, and others, along with whatever future evolving AI comes to exist...
