To catch people up on what happened or on what was supposed to happen
.
So we made a deal with a consultant where he would find someone who would buy my ex out and who would then let us but back the home from them.
What we had understood was that we would be forfeiting our share of the home in order to have more time to raise up the money to buy back our home..
As we had understood it, rent and taxes would be covered for a whole year and we would have exclusive rights to buy back the home for at least a year. With continued living there as an option as long as we could come up with the rent money.
But then one month in, all hellstarted to break loose
when the neighborhood started going after our yard for things that for attributesthat had been tolerated and basically grandfathered in lreviously, but right after the home switched hands they started nitpicking about every little details... and then isntead of the new landlord helping us, they started attacking us with eviction notices.
Halfway solved that problem (or so we had thought when we had talked with the president of the hoa) then had a couple of momths respite to try to get our bearings to try to get the ball rolling with our nonprofit idea, when we found out that the person was working on the nonrpfoit idea with us had intentions of moving us out of our home.. Angerπ°ππ£ππ€ππ«π©π π‘π΅π².
and so we realized that this non profit idea as it was currently wasnt being set up wasnt necessarily in our best interest nc the whole gosh darn point in saving our home was so woudnt have to move out at all. Thr whole point was to make sure we would get to be able to keep living in our home and so mom got to live with us in our home without any awareness of the loss of our family's home.
we needed to learn as quickly as we could how to make our own business to raise up money to get our home back somehow all while caring for mom fulltime.
.but then we find out that we were gwtting eviction notices again bc it turns out that the rent had stopped being covered by this consultant having stopper payments to the landlord?!?! Wtf??
So now, we want to not only raise up enough money to not only buy back our home from this hellish landlord that bought the home from my ex -- apparantly not with the intention of helping us out, but instead with thr intention of getting the home for basicslly half off .
--- basically taking advantage of a family in our situation. ---π‘π€π°
Whats funny is i am still grateful for both that consultant and the landlord who bought it from my ex
bc at least they were willimg to work with us (sort of ) unlike the ex whom we were too afraid of to even talk to.
So i am grateful that at least it was better than the ex leaving us to terrified to even breathe. At least rhe consultant is cheering us on to be able to raise up money to save the home , albeit he would prefer we raise up the funds purely through the nonprofit and have the nonprofit buy back our home.
But we have read the rules, and if we are going to be allowed to keep living there, then we need to raise up the money to save our home seperate from the nonprofit. Though we still hope to raise up the money for that aa well bc we do still beleive the nonprofit will help the city to create ueban food forest nodes around the city.
Though rhe nonprofit still needs to be done, we hope you will help us to fundraise enough to buy back our separately in order to protect our family's ability to keep living in our home..
We have sadly since learned that we should have started this private gofundme fundraiser years ago instead of heavens knows what we had been hoping for. But with your help we could not only raise up enough to buy back our home but also to make sure noone else evee has to go through the pain ans agony of uncertainty constantly feeling like we are about to be kicked out of our family's home by forces that we though were bigger than us
We realize now that these forces are not actually bigger than us.. They just currenrly have more money than us. Lets change the tides and protect those who are about to be kixked out onto their home and give them a way to be able to keep living on their home AND to learn enough to become empowred enough to buy back their home themsleves!!
So not only do we need raise up enough to buy this new landlord out to save our own home
but we also would like to raise up 5 million on top of that to make sure noone else ever goes through the fear and sense of aloneness and feeling of threat ans insecutity we have gone through for rhe last couple of years.
Please help us raise up enough money not only to save our own home
but also enough to help other people who are going through the same situation..
only with this time, we are going to help them the way we wish we had been helped.
Since we like to record and document everthing, we are going to utilize that five million dollar investment in a way that everyone can see and be inspired by it.
here is how we are going to help people in the same situation and also make money from it at the same time:
One)
we are going to locate families that either have an ex who wants to sell their home ie kicking a family out of their home
or families who cant pay their mortgage but who still have half a mortgage left
and
IF THEY ARE willing to meet certain qualifications, then with that starter five million that you are going to help us raise up, we will purchase their home for them and make a deal with them where they get to keep living in their home and get exclusive rights to buy back their home from us (with a small ROI for our company) IF they continue to meet these qaulifications listed below.
Qualification #1.
We help then out IF THEY ARE willing to have us video and audio record and document all interactions to be posted up on a YouTube channel dedicated specifically for their family. Kind of reality TV style.
All proceeds recieved from monetizing the youtube channel will go towards rent, taxes, maintenance, employees who maintain the channel and finally anything leftover will go towards the family raising up funds to be able to buy back the home at market value from us.
After they have bought bavk the home from us, they may split any revenue from trh channel half half with us. And must do periodic update videos on the channel quarterly to help inspire others as well. The contract for the youtube channel can be updated three years after they have bought back their home. If they forfeit their home, or leave their home, then profits for the channel go entirely to the nonprofit that will be set up to help folks like them.
Qualification #2)
They must be willing to set up a fundraiser like a gofundme to buy back their home from us before we even sign the check. This fundraiser will be advertised on each video posted on the channel dedicated for that family. It must be stipulated that all money in the fundraiser raised up must go towards taxes and buying back the home. If then forfeit buying the home back, then they must find a new buyer and close a new deal before the fundraiser can go back to being in their control.
Qualification#3) most important
The family must be willing to learn regenerative food forest gardening and must allow their yard to be used for producing food and native pants with edible and medicinal qualities. If there is an HOA, they must be willing and allowed to work with the HOA directly to keep the HOA happy. If the family does not wish to maintain or harvest their own yard then part of rent will cover outside help assigned by us who understands what we are trying to achieve by having urban food forests paid nodes throughout the city The family may work with the assigned gardener and the HOA even if they do not wish to be the primary caretakers of the yard themselves to maintisn it to the HOA and city's qualifications. Also, even though the family is welcome to harvest for themselves, all excess harvest must be allowed to be sold at farmers markets and or given to community. They may either do this themselves as part of their training or it be outsourced and deducted from their portion of any of the profits made from selling the food items.
Qualification #4)
THEY must also be willing to take some classes on RPM TIME management and classes/workshops on NVC communication skills. This will come out of their own pocket or be put on their tab of what must be paid bavk.
Qualification#5)
They must be willing to start a paid community platform and course sharing both knwowldge we will be teaching thrm alomg with sharing amy of their own skills or knowldge. All profits from the courses must first go towards paying for rent, taxes, maintenance, and all remaining profits will go towards their be able to purchase back their home.
ALL profits from courses, communiy platforms, YouTube channels, and plants sold at farmers markets will go towards paying for rent, taxes, maintenance and anything leftover will go striclty towards their being able to buy bavk their home from us at market price.
If the family wishes to pay for food, utilities, or anything for themselves, then they must raise that money via separate means..
If the family does not have funds to be able to eat, we will prvide them with the name of locations and groups that provide free food in their communities. If there are no such programs already established in that location, we will work the family to create such a program for the area utilizing what food are created in their yards..
The goal is not only make sure no other family goes through what we went through but to also make sure eavh of those familys become a symbol of hope and light for the community and helps to create an urban food forest oasis that will not only help them but back their home from us but which will also help their communities through regenerative food forests and sharing holistic symbiotic living with mother earth amd their community .
We begin this journey and this story by saving our own home first.
