Every time I go into the local convenient store (which i still call the 7-11 since that is what it once was,) and i pay for the lottery ticket, i say to them "and if i win, will you guys go organic". The cashier whose family owns the store smiles and says yes. And then he wishes me good luck.
I often wonder if they will or if i would need to biy the store from them in order to make it happen. Though personally id still want them to run it for me. I just hire them somebody extra who would help search out all the locally produced, or sustainably made products that were either organic or gmo free or just simply sustainable made, though ideally it would be locally produced or if from anoher country, like chocolate or coffee, would all be fair trade.
Some products id like to see them selling would be the kambucha tea made locally, all bears would be locally brewed ir if from elsewhere organic,
Orgqnic freeze-Dried fruit,
Locally produced nuts, preferably organic.
I would put a shout out to local sustainable farms that that store would carry products.
Green toilet paper, cordless toilet paper, green products, locally made soaps, etc
And that person i hired would look up how its all made and would write a little info on it to be seen next to the prive tag so that buyer knows the seller better.
No waters from nestle, though water filters and a place to refill water bottles and metal or glass water bottles.
Green nontoxic cleaners
Csa pick ups
Bulk dried foods
Freezer filled with organic gmo healthy yummy breads and tv dinners
Etc etc
